Life in the frozen tundra of Maine with a hot husband, an emptying nest, and plenty of snow. OH God, the snow.
What a FUN set of pictures! The family that visits coast-to-coast stays strong. *grin*Love it!Write From Karen
Your photo are lovely!Maine is one of the places I would like to visit some day. I hope to see the East Coast some day :)By the way, I had to look up a mag I have because the photo in your side bar looks familiar because I have seen it several times in the magazine. Is the photo in your blog the Lighthouse Depot?
That's so fun!! Both pictures are great. How cool to have contrasting shots. :DHow fun that you found the Pikes Peak pix! I just love that mountain. I've never been to Maine, but would sure like to one of these days. Thanks for dropping by. Happy WW! :D
quite a difference in climate, huh?at least you have ocean either way--something I would love despite the cold.
Ah Ha! I figured it out! After looking at your '97 photo, I'm thinking you look familiar like I've seen you before, and I just figured it out.. you look like Susanna Hoffs from The Bangles! Check the pic: http://www.blogitude.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/08/hoffs1.jpgI knew I wasn't going crazy! LOL!
Oh, I think you ARE going crazy. I only look like her (and of course, sing like her) in my dreams. But thank you - you made my day. :)
The first pic was when we lived in San Diego - it was atop Soledad Mountain.Julie, the lighthouse is Quoddy Head - near Lubec, Maine (far eastern tip).Bunny Trails - I used to live on the hill near the Sunbird Restaurant (assuming it's still there). We had a GREAT view of Pikes Peak and the whole front range. :)
